Dear Municipal Commissioner,
I am writing to bring to your attention an error regarding a property tax notification I received. My name is Anantha Padmanabhan, and I reside at 4-1872/1, Durga Nagar Colony, Greamspet, Chittoor, 517003.
I recently received an SMS on my mobile number (9440007359) stating that property tax of Rs. 172590/- is due for Assessment No. 1008028450. Please be advised that this assessment number does not belong to me. My correct assessment number is 1008007287.
I have raised this issue several times previously. As a diligent taxpayer, I consistently pay my property tax in advance to avail of the applicable discounts.
Kindly verify your records and ensure that future notifications are directed to the correct individual. I have included the text of the SMS I received and attached my most recent property tax payment receipt for your reference.
I would appreciate your immediate attention to this matter.
